2018 North American User conference announced!

The Yokogawa North American Users biennial conference and exhibition provides an unparalleled opportunity for Yokogawa users to network with fellow professionals, industry and business leaders, and numerous product and solutions experts. Individuals gain in-depth, quantified insight into how their peers are using automation technologies to deliver industry-leading results, as well as hearing and seeing Yokogawa future developments. This valuable educational and networking event has been scheduled for September 10 – 13, 2018  in Orlando, (FL USA)
Led by users for users, the 2018 event will provide a forum for exchanging information and ideas about instrumentation, controls and automation solutions for various process industry applications, as well as future developments in Yokogawa automation technologies. The main event will run from Tuesday September 11 to Thursday September 13, with pre-conference sessions on the application of industry standards beginning on Monday September 10. The conference program includes Yokogawa platform technology updates, industry and technology keynotes, workshops and panel sessions, all designed to help users and partners fully utilize automation technologies. An exhibition will feature Yokogawa’s integrated portfolio of platforms and solutions, as well as exhibitions from business partners that allow attendees to see how these technologies are used to achieve safe, reliable, and profitable operations in their facilities. Yokogawa will also host a welcome reception, customer appreciation night, and other networking events that are designed to optimize the exchange of ideas.

The program is being designed to help users find ways to increase the quality and efficiency of their operations, decrease risk and downtime, and lower overall operating costs. Conference, exhibition, and networking opportunities provide a focused venue for individuals involved in the upstream oil and gas, chemical, refining, and other industries to learn and share ideas and best practices among product and industry specialists, fellow users, and Yokogawa business partners. The conference portion also features hands-on workshops and seminars that allow attendees to earn Professional Development Hours (PDH) certificates.

Users are asked to present applications, concepts and techniques used today in the automation of manufacturing processes. These presentations can describe applied knowledge, best practices, implementation guidelines, and descriptive and analytical reviews of topics related to the use of Yokogawa products in their environments. Topics are not restricted and every effort is made to schedule presentations so that each user can be exposed to a variety of companies, industries and applications so they may broaden their knowledge.
