Progress at ISA section in Spain.

The International Society of Automation (ISA) Spain Section's annual Assembly and Conference 2017 was held earlier this month in Madrid (ES). The main subject was “Automation and Control in the SMART era”.

Honeywell, OSIsoft, Logitek, Microsoft and REE gave some of the sessions during the day discussing Industrie 4.0, IIoT, Industry Big Data, etc.

Francisco Arista was awarded the section's annual prize in recognition of a Control professional.

The afternoon colloquium was an interesting debate about “Employment challenge in the new digital era” where we had the participation of representatives of the Government, Trade Unions and Industry.
